First-gen Creative Leader transforming Fortune 500 brands
Hola! I'm Yudelia (Judy) Estevez, a Creative Director and Brand Strategist
who builds campaigns that drive measurable business impact. I've art directed
work that moved millions through checkout at Gap, launched products that became
instant bestsellers at Sephora, and reimagined century-old brands for the next generation. I've partnered with C-suite leaders, managed global teams, mentored
emerging talent, and delivered work across continents.
I approach every project as both a creative challenge and a
strategic opportunity, translating complex business objectives into compelling
brand narratives that move markets and inspire teams.
My Background
I'm a first-generation professional and the daughter of Dominican immigrants who taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and the transformative power of opportunity.
Growing up watching my parents navigate systems not built for them shaped my approach to creative leadership. I understand what it means to translate between worlds,
to make the complex accessible, and to build bridges where none existed.
That lived experience shapes how I lead. I know what it's like to be the only person
in the room who looks like me, who talks like me, who comes from where I come from.
I lead with empathy because I've needed it. I champion diverse voices because
I know what happens when they're ignored. I build teams where everyone feels they belong because I remember what it felt like when I didn't.
My career spans luxury beauty, mass retail, children's services, and emerging
tech concepts. I believe the best Creative Directors are both visionaries and operators, comfortable in the boardroom and the design studio.
Community Impact
Community matters. Beyond Fortune 500 work, I've supported underrepresented
founders and small businesses. I've provided pro-bono and reduced-rate creative direction to minority-owned, women-owned, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses—
helping entrepreneurs who often lack access to high-caliber creative talent.
I believe creative excellence shouldn't be reserved for those with the biggest budgets.
I'm an active member of Latinas in Tech, ColorComm, and AIGA. I mentor high school
and university students. I volunteer with Tunnel to Towers and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
My goal is to open doors for the next generation of creatives who might not
see themselves represented in leadership roles.
